This is an outside & inside direct sales consulting position. Technology Advisors with Reliable Solutions Group have a broad scope of services available to recommend, in the areas of Information Technology, Cloud Technology, and Telecommunications.


Comprehensive 2-Week Training
Reliable Solutions Group invests in your success with a focused, internal training program: one week dedicated to mastering IT fundamentals, followed by one week honing your sales skills. This tailored approach ensures you’re fully equipped to excel within our team and in your career.


Reliable Solutions Group also commits to continuous Sales Training, as well as continuous training on the IT products & platforms that we sell and manage.


In this role, you have the potential to qualify for Partner-Sponsored Sales Trips and  potential to Work From Home.


Where?

For your first year, you’ll be based at Reliable Solutions Group’s office, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with views of nature. Conveniently located near great restaurants and major highways, the office also has a deli on the first floor for quick bites.

Local travel within a two-hour radius will be required as you meet with clients and build relationships.

The Technology Advisor’s responsibilities can be categorized in three phases:

As a Technology Advisor, your first mission is to open doors. You’ll reach out to business decision-makers primarily through phone calls, but also via email, LinkedIn, and networking to spark interest in our services.


  • This is a high-activity role, requiring 50–70 new outbound calls each day. 
  • Your goal? Schedule impactful meetings with C-level executives responsible for IT decisions and start building the relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.

Once a meeting is secured, it’s time to dive deep. Some opportunities will begin with a technology audit conducted by a Reliable engineer. From there, you’ll help craft tailored recommendations and, when needed, coordinate product demos to showcase the solution. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and senior sales support to design smart, effective strategies, then present them to key decision-makers. This is where trust is built and value is delivered.

Your ultimate goal is to turn conversations into clients. After presenting your solution, you’ll guide decision-makers through the sales process and close the deal.


  • Sales cycles can vary from quick two-week wins to longer six-month engagements depending on the complexity of the solution.
